CHANGING MONROE BASKETBALL ONE DAY AT A TIME!

Our mission is to provide a local basketball hub for all Monroe County families.  To build a home for our youth athletes to learn and love the game of basketball at an early age.  Where boys and girls can learn the fundamentals without paying large amounts of money or traveling to other areas of Michigan or Ohio.  Finding our community leaders to build reputable camps and coaching clinics.

Part of our mission is to always provide less expensive or free basketball camps and training for those that want to learn.  Through fundraising and donations we are able to provide monthly camps at no charge.  Using donation funds to pay for gym time and equipment fees.

We are now providing our youth players the opportunity to play against some of the best competition in Michigan.  Our Monroe Elite travel program includes boys and girls from the 4th – 8th grade. Our Monroe Elite AAU program offers high-level, quality training through team practices and individual skills and training.  Our coaches are dedicated to improving youth development, game awareness, fundamentals, & team sportsmanship.

In Partnership w/ Legacy Center Michigan

The Monroe Elite Program is an extension of the Legacy Center Basketball family. Program director and founder, Tyrone Hicks provides years of experience as a high school varsity coach, tournament and AAU director.  Coach Hicks is also the founder of the Common Bond AAU program which has been serving south east Michigan for over 20 years.  Our goal is to work diligently to provide an extensive basketball development and personal growth programs across Michigan.
